Store Policies

In-Store Pickup

Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup. If you need an item right away, we ask that you call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, special orders need to be picked up within 15 days or a 20% restocking fee may be charged.


All products are sold under the policies of the respective Manufacturer or Retailer. All assembly on operating directions of the Manufacturer or Retailer must be followed when using any product purchased through Ajo Bikes. Bicycles should be assembled by a qualified bike mechanic to ensure proper assembly. Ajo Bikes will not be responsible for damage or injury caused by improper assembly of products purchased through our website. Or if directions and instructions for proper use are not followed. You may not qualify for any applicable Manufacturer or Retailer warranty if you do not follow their policies for assembly and use. Please consult the Manufacturer or Retailer's policies prior to assembly and use of your product.

Some variations do occur during manufacturing. As a result, appearance, specifications and price are subject to change without notice.

Limitation and Disclaimer of Warranties

Any warranties on the bicycle, e-bike, parts, or accessories, whether express or implied and including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to those offered by the manufacturer. Ajo Bikes disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, on the bicycle, parts or accessories, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Customer may obtain warranty service from any provider associated with or authorized by the manufacturer. Warranties do not cover damage to the frame, fork, rims, or flat tires. Warranties do not cover user negligence or wear items (tires, brakes, chain, etc.). Only written warranties apply. Verbal statements of warranty or fitness of use are explicitly excluded from any warranty or guarantee. 

Customer accepts any used bicycles purchased "As-Is" and agrees that they have thoroughly inspected the vehicle to their complete satisfaction prior to possession. Used items do not carry any warranty.

Flat tires and punctures are not covered by any warranty or guarantee under any conditions.

If any work is performed at the Customer's location, the Customer is responsible for any additional mobile service charges or a trip charge, regardless of any warranties. Flat tires are not covered by any warranty. 

Warranty repairs will be completed at ½ the retail cost of Ajo Bikes shop rate.

Special Orders

For customized items or special orders placed by Customer, a non-refundable deposit will be required to place the order. In addition, Customer will be responsible for any restocking charges or return fees assessed by the manufacturer, if the order is cancelled. Customer will forfeit deposit if item is not picked up within 30-days from receipt of merchandise by Ajo Bikes, as compensation for handling.

30 Day Check Up

For new bicycles, the Customer is entitled to a no-cost health check of the vehicle at 30-days (±10 days). For pre-owned bicycles, the Customer is entitled to a no obligation, no cost, health check of vehicle during the first 30 days of ownership.

Back Orders

Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be back ordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.


Shipping options are available for most apparel and accessory items. Orders typically ship within one business day of being placed.

Some products may not be eligible for shipping due to our dealer agreements. 

For bicycles, please allow at least 10 business days for processing and delivery. We will call you with an estimated completion date. Customers must take possession of new bike purchases at the store.

Disruptions to the Supply Chain

Ajo Bikes cannot guarantee delivery dates. Furthermore, because parts are difficult to find, many manufacturers are making substitutions. These substitutions are to be of equal performance and quality. Furthermore, some paint and color changes may occur. Archer's Bikes cannot guarantee that the specifications, color, or parts will perfectly match the pictures shown online. All substitutions, or changes to color, may occur and without notice. 

Information Security

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers.


All prices subject to change without notice. Call store to verify price and availability. Changes may occur to the specifications and color without notice.

Special Conditions for E-Bike Kits

In addition to the conditions contained herein, any bicycle or kit, electric, new or used, assembled from a kit or un-assembled, by Ajo Bikes or by anyone else, that utilizes an electric motor, is hereby excluded from any and all warranties, expressed or implied, and is sold as-is. Ajo Bikes expressly excludes any and all claims for damages, actual or consequential, arising from the purchase or use of any and all kits or bicycles assembled from a kit.

Dealer Additions and Deletion of Accessories

Customer may request Ajo Bikes to make the additions and deletions of accessories. Customer understands and agrees that certain parts or merchandise additions may not conform exactly with factory installed additions. Customer understands that Ajo Bikes already may have added equipment or accessories to the vehicle.


Customer agrees the maximum amount recoverable for damages of any kind shall not exceed the cost of the merchandise or bicycle. The Customer's sole remedy for damages or claims of any type will be repair or refund. 

Customer Possession

Once the Customer takes possession of a bicycle, we leave the Customer's location, or the Customer leaves the business property of Ajo Bikes with the bicycle, the Customer accepts the bicycle as complete and to their full satisfaction. 


Merchandise: With a copy of your original Sales Receipt, Customer may return new merchandise within 30-days of purchase for exchange or full refund, as long as it is in the original manufacturer's package, in new condition, unused, and complete. 

New Bikes: All new bicycle sales are final and may not be returned for a refund.

Used Bikes: All used bicycles or used merchandise sales are final, sold as-is, and may not be returned for refund. If the Customer identifies a defect in a used bicycle within 30-days of purchase, Ajo Bikes may, at its discretion, repair the defect at no labor cost to the Customer. The Customer must pay for parts. In any case, the bicycle must be presented at our shop for all repairs.

Service: All service is accepted by the Customer as satisfactory when they pick up the bike. There are no refunds for labor services. Ajo Bikes guarantees repairs for 30 days. The guarantee does not include misuse, neglect or abuse caused by the end user. If you have an issue with a repair, please call or stop by so we can offer a solution. 


Selected items may be held for up to 60-days on deposit. Customer may make payments toward the item at any time during the 60-day period. The 20% initial deposit for the item is non-refundable and forfeited by the Customer at the end of the 60-day holding period if the balance is not paid in full. Additional payments made during or after the hold period will be forfeited after 60 days from the initial payment. Customer may pay the balance due at any time during the hold period and redeem the item, completing the transaction. Payments do not accrue interest. Forfeited deposits will be considered fair compensation to Ajo Bikes for liquidated damages for removing the item for sale, administrative costs and storage.

Accounts and Store Credit

Purchases made on account must be paid in full every 30 days. 1.5% interest per month will accrue on past due accounts. Store credit must be used in 90 days or less. Credit account balances for a store credit that are over 90 days old are forfeited. No interest will accrue on unused store credit.

Acknowledgement of Risk and Limitation of Liability

Customer understands that using a bicycle has inherent risks of injury to the Customer or others. Risks of injury include, but are not limited to, minor bumps and bruises, major injuries or even death, and as such, Customer certifies that he/she/they are fully competent and skilled to operate the vehicle under all conditions. The Customer and any other operators/passengers/riders or others hereby personally accept all risks and liabilities of any and all activity associated with the bicycle or merchandise.
